Are you ready to RUMBLE!?!?!

We experienced an earthquake in Sofia last night, and another one this morning. It was a "light earthquake," measuring a 4 on the Richter scale. Before last night's earthquake, there was a really loud noise. This morning (at 7:03 Sofia time) we heard a low rumbling and felt a light quake again. We still travelled two hours to Blagoevgrad for our speaking assignments this morning.

About this blog...

As most of you know, Charles and Carol Jewell are on a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. They received their call in August of 2007 to serve in the Bulgaria Sofia Mission. They set off on their journey from home in San Antonio, TX to the Missionary Training Center (MTC) in Provo, UT before Christmas of 2007 stopping to visit Heather (Midland, TX), Chuck (Amarillo, TX) and Kathi (Broomfield, CO) on the way. Charles and Carol arrived at the MTC on January 7, 2008 and were there training for 11 days before traveling on to Sofia, Bulgaria. This blog is so that all of you can see how they are doing! Hope you enjoy the updates...
