Skiing
I (Charles) got special permission to go on a little ski excursion on Saturday, January 17. I went with President Yonkov (he's a district president, which is the equivalent to a stake president). We went to Vitosha Mountain in Sofia for a half day. I had a great day. I had all an old man needed to ski (no lift lines). This was the first time I had skied since Feb 2007.

About this blog...
As most of you know, Charles and Carol Jewell are on a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. They received their call in August of 2007 to serve in the Bulgaria Sofia Mission. They set off on their journey from home in San Antonio, TX to the Missionary Training Center (MTC) in Provo, UT before Christmas of 2007 stopping to visit Heather (Midland, TX), Chuck (Amarillo, TX) and Kathi (Broomfield, CO) on the way. Charles and Carol arrived at the MTC on January 7, 2008 and were there training for 11 days before traveling on to Sofia, Bulgaria. This blog is so that all of you can see how they are doing! Hope you enjoy the updates...
