We're getting ready...

We've been packing like crazy, weighing, repacking, and reweighing. We have 2 of our big, huge suitcases packed within the weight limit and in the mission office. Today was our last church meeting in Bulgaria. They said some very kind words about us, and that meant a lot. Tomorrow is our last day in Bulgaria. Bitter sweet. But, we're so excited to see our family that it's mostly sweet.

Sounds as if you packed like you were going to camp!

About this blog...

As most of you know, Charles and Carol Jewell are on a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. They received their call in August of 2007 to serve in the Bulgaria Sofia Mission. They set off on their journey from home in San Antonio, TX to the Missionary Training Center (MTC) in Provo, UT before Christmas of 2007 stopping to visit Heather (Midland, TX), Chuck (Amarillo, TX) and Kathi (Broomfield, CO) on the way. Charles and Carol arrived at the MTC on January 7, 2008 and were there training for 11 days before traveling on to Sofia, Bulgaria. This blog is so that all of you can see how they are doing! Hope you enjoy the updates...
